Pros:
Lightweight, variable LCD is amazing, definitely worth the extra 200. Better than the T3i
Cons:
Manual picture mode is on the opposite side of the video mode, takes a while to switch between the two if that's important to you.

Awesome camera! This is my first DSLR to own, but I have borrowed a 7D and I can say honestly that I like this camera much better. It's lighter, smaller, and the video/audio features are better. Might lack some features of the 7D, but for me this camera is perfect.

Pros:
great camera, awesome pictures, very flexible lcd camera, hundreds of adjustments and the capabilities are endless. was looking at the eos T2i but went with the eos60d for a little more money but alot more features.
Cons:
It would be nice to have the selector dial go all the way around instead of stopping at a certain point.

Pros:
video quality is amazing, flip out screen is more cool than I thought, there are some great new features
Cons:
buttons and menus aren't the best. Needs an external mic and great tripod if you're doing video; but then it's hard to switch between photo and video mode.

Pros:
I love the fact that you can see many settings on the lcd screen and can change them from there without having to go into the menu to find them.
Cons:
I'm very disappointed that the frames per second are less than the 40D. The battery and the cards are also different from the 40D which adds to my expense.

I don't mind the plastic body but all in all feel that this is a step down from the 40D, not a step up. This is the first time in 30 years that I'm disappointed in Canon.
