Great functionality when used with the Zumo 550, but it is expensive. I installed it inside the fairing of my Harley and it works quite well. I recommend the unit as long as you do not have a tight budget.

GXM 30 XM Smart Antenna was purchased to go with Zumo 550 GPS. And mounted on 05 HD Road King. Between Windshield and to left of center of handle bar area. Also purchased metal Ram mounting plate for antenna to sit on and attach to. While being connected to Zumo 550. Nice set up, but a little limiting on placement areas, When appearance is one of many top priority's. I use ear buds with said unit. Sound volume is good after I found out there are two volume controls on Zumo. 1 on software platform. The other on bottom left, hard button on zumo. Then push + or - to adjust to preference. Can hear very well at speeds of 70 to 85 mph. Total package, parts and setup works as advertised. Love that XM Radio on A long trip.

Pros:
Excellent reception on my motorcycle. Rarely had dropouts even going through mountains or under bridges on recent cross-country trip
Cons:
Would prefer if the cord was not attached to unit. It comes with a fairly long cord attached plus an extension and I would have liked a shorter cord.
Comment:
Expensive, although PCNation has one of the best prices available. It works great and the optional subscription to Weather/Traffic saved our butts on more than one occasion.
The Performance ratings apply to my Garmin Zumo rather than the XM antenna since the antenna has nothing to do with tracking or routing.

As a shopper with high expectations, I am very satisfied with PCNation and the ordering process. Ordering was easy, it arrived complete. The pricing was the best on the web and retail.
I would use PCNation again. For those looking for a reliable and good online merchant PCNation certainly qualifies.
