I bought this printer for it's 11x17 printing capabilities. I haven't found any faults with the printer yet. It has made my life much easier now that I don't have to run to kinkos every time I print my cad drawings. Also, the option of scanning to jpeg or pdf is very convenient!

Had a little trouble setting up for wireless operation but one call to Belkin to get setting for router and the Brother printer set up nicely. It's great to print from anywhere in the house on the different computers.

Pros:
Cheap ink cartriages. 2 paper trays. Fast. Nice card readers including XD. 2 Year warrantee. Good Price.

Cons:
Poor software, Third party software like ACDSee Pro works best for me.

I'm tired of fixing my HP 2000c and D145 which only last about 3 years and cost twice as much. And I go broke buying cartriages and print heads.

Pros:
Accomodates ledger printing which was the primary reason for the purchase.

Cons:
Ink cartridges had to be cleaned after 15 pages. Then text began to be printed at a slant on the page and could not be corrected by the manufacturer.

The manufacturer agreed to replace this printer with a new one, but based on my bad experience I did not want another one. I am working with PCNation to arrange a return and purchase of a different printer.
