Pros:
By far beats any of the competitors such as HP or Lexmark. Great entry level color laser printer.
Cons:
Cartridges are a little expensive. But overall cost is great for entry level.
Comment:
Great for for small offices, instead of managing inkjets.. Great device from Samsung.

THIS MACHINE WORKED GREAT FOR 45 MINUTES. SOMETHING BURNED UP IN IT. I CALLED FOR HELP. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD FIX IT. I HAVE TO WAIT FOR UP TO 6 WEEKS FOR A PART. MY BUSINESS IS SUPPOSE TO BE PUT ON HOLD WHILE I WAIT ON THIS PART OR BUY ANOTHER PRINTER. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Pros:
Very good image quality for the price, better than expected from the user reviews (better than a $5000 Kyocera copier at my office). Extremely quiet operation. Not unreasonably slow for a 4-p color printer.
Cons:
Reds tend to be intensified a little bit in images (but not any more than the average CMYK based ink or toner printer). No automatic power off when not in use, power switch in back makes it tough to turn off when located in my computer armoire (used a 6-line plug to get around the problem).
Comment:
Highly recommended for the home office. Small size, quiet operation, good image quality, incredibly inexpensive. Hard to go wrong with this printer. I hope it lasts as long as my 15 year old B/W HP 4L Laserjet that is still kicking.

Overall ratings: 2.0 out of 5
Pros:
-cheap
-low noise
-easy software setup
Cons:
1) printing defects while printing on some types of paper that are mentioned to be supported in the manual. called samsung tech support - they say manual is wrong and advised not to use that paper. paper costs $20 a ream.
2) paper is hard to load/unload. you have to pull out the entire tray to change paper. when you have to put paper of different size adjustment of tray size could be easier.
Comment:
not bad for the price. but product needs to be improved.
