    Pros:
Quick, easy and FAST. Perfect implementation.
    Cons:
Does not work in a power strip and unless you actually read the instructions (cough) you will not learn this.
    Comment:
This is a great solution if you have poor wireless signal in a distant room or need to be hardwired and don''t want to run wires. This is so much better than the first generation slow versions. I am running at 100

    Pros:
Adapters were installed and running in less than five minutes. Connection was been reliable since installed.
    Cons:
Cables included with adapters and are useless. Install would have been cut in half had I not had to find longer cables.
    Comment:
A product I would recommend that has been reliable and met my need since installing. I am using the adapters to connect my HD DVR to my router located on another floor. My initial concern when ordering was whether speed would be an issue because the outlets are not on the same circuit. I have not measured the speed however for my application they have met my expectation.

    Pros:
Works well right out of the box providing a constant 100MB speed.
    Cons:
Still somewhat tethered since the laptop has to be wired to the device. Would prefer wireless from the power adaptor to the laptop, but the wireless devices apparently don''t offer the same throughput.
    Comment:
I am living in a 4 floor building: a basement and three floors, with 1 electrical panel in the basement. No variation in throughput on 2 upper floors. I don''t access the other 2 floors, but would expect the same throughput. This product has eliminated my frustration with dropping wireless signals; and variable throughput.

Easy set up Speedier than old powerline adapters it replace
    Cons:
    None
    Comment:
I bought these to replace an older set of powerline Ethernet adapters that I was using to connect my Tivo and PS3 to my network. Performance from streaming music and video through my home network was dramatically improved. Easy set up. Just plug in and connect the Ethernet cables.

Overall ratings: 4.0 out of 5
    Pros:
Extremely easy setup. My router (Netgear WNR834M) recognized the connection almost immediately. Very fast bandwidth noted with my cable connected internet.
    Cons:
Price for one access point (2 units required) is higher then I think it should be. (After careful shopping, I paid about $115 for the kit.)
    Comment:
Following the advice in the instructions, I plugged both units directly into a wall recepticle outlet. Apparently, significant interference and / or eventual damage to the unit can occur if plugged into an extension cord that has power surge protection. It would be nice to provide the buyer of the initial 2 unit kit a discount on purchasing a further unit for another access point. Also, in previous kits, there was a report of problems if the electrical system was part of a multi-household building such as an apartment building. My home is a single family house and no problem noted with this form of interference in my experience so far.
