Pros:
Low cost for a color laser MFP; small footprint; looks good; scan to usb/email; print from usb very convenient; wireless; first print out speed; and print speed.
Cons:
Scan to email feature requires a non-ssl SMTP mail server which is difficulty to find these days. Driver software is quite large.
Comment about Samsung CLX-3175FW Multifunction Printer
It is hard to describe - the machine gives off a "dry heat" sensation although it does not feel hot to touch. Some reviews say that it is difficult to set up the wireless connection. The "how to" guides on Samsung's website are helpful. It is quite easy if you have the instruction.

Pros:
Small size, low cost, Mac software was included.
Cons:
Wireless was a HUGE pain to setup, and I'm a former network admin. I can't imagine how the average person could do it. In fact, I'm not sure how I did it. It just started working on its own after I had given up on it and walked away. The manual is no help at all. I had to get online and sift through some forums to figure out how to set it up. And it didn't have a USB cable with it, but that's normal these days.

For the price, it's a reasonable deal, especially considering that it's wireless. It prints doents very well, but it is not a photo printer at all. It's a great home or home office printer, especially at this price. I bought this to replace an inkjet printer, but have kept the inkjet around just for photo printing. Also, it is allegedly a wireless scanner, but I have yet to successfully scan a single doent. Maybe that will start working on its own too. One odd thing is the power it draws. When I hit print, the lights in my living room dim, so I suspect it pulls considerable current. Be aware that this thing also puts out a great deal of heat.
