Pros:
Great Price @ PCNation, An All-in-One that actually Works GREAT! Looks Sharp. Uses very little ink to get a great job done!
Cons:
Even as an all-in-one it is a big item

Many features for a low price
Cons:
Front panel is barely visible. Was originally set up for Japanese users and I could barely see from the panel how to change the language.

Pros:
All in one saves space. Print quality is very good. Scanning is noisy but outperforms my old epson perfection 8400U.
Cons:
Setup is easy until the unit enters the sleep mode when it disconnects form the network. When you attempt to print the printer is displayed as offline. Currently trying to resolve the issue with HP (Two weeks later!)
Comment:
Great printer, when it works. I will be attempting to conenct the printer to my wireless router via an ethernet port. Wireless should read less wires with this printer. Cut down on the wires behind my desk.

Pros:
Before buying the Hp8500 I did read some negative reports about setup but I must say mine was as smooth as butter and I love this printer. Some of the people with problems have challenging combinations of older computers, older operating systems, pc's and Macs mixed into a network. I think the more complex your equipment the more setup difficulties you can expect with any make of printer. I'm using vista home and a newish laptop on a simple home network.
Cons:
Trying to fault this unit but can't find any cons yet.
Comment:
Be very careful that you get the model that you want. Some advertisers with low prices are really selling the stripped down HP8500. It has the same name, frontal appearance and description except for a yes or no in the 2-sided copy and wifi boxes. The model number ending in 23 is a 2-sided printer and is wifi equipped.

Pros:
It prints.
Cons:
Print speed is far slower than advertised as duplex unit must wait for one side to dry before printing the other.
Advertises itself as laser quality. To be clear, there is no chance anybody would ever mistake this as laser printer output. It is as good as any ink jet I have ever seen, but it's definitely still got the jagged edges due to ink soaking into the paper unevenly.
Also, the remote scanning software, at least on a Mac, simply doesn't work.
Comment:
Don't wast your time on ink jets if you can possibly afford a laser, but they really are barely more expensive these days.
