Pros:
refurbed unit much cheaper than new, lots of features, like the bluetooth. ran into a traffic accident and was awayb backed up so I got off exit and hit detour, and it worked like a charm. added 10 mins to trip but it took right over and we never stopped moving
Cons:
had 2x now the unit will lock up while traveling and adjusting volume. unit seems to hang, then audio is corrupted after it comes back. recycle power and it works fine again. will be going back under warranty after upcoming trip with it

nice unit overall. if you buy a factory refurb unit you never know why it was considered refurb, but I always buy the extended warranty, and am glad this time I have it. overall a nice unit, but the problems with the refurb have me a little concerned about the next unit, but it otherwise is a treat to have and if you do any traveling they are slick as hell to travel with!

Pros:
Maps, language and rivers/lakes all are clear and easy to understand
Cons:
The map update function was real big to download and took a bit to get the maps to update. Default maps are good too.

The screen is big and easy to find the touch buttons. I am plleased with this unit for general driving and locating addresses I have never been to before. Traffic updates are a nice function.

Occasional outdated addresses.
Lack of plug n play consistency (sometimes takes 2 or 3 times) for bluetooth and phone.

Moving to a new place and not knowing the streets frustrates me. For this reason alone I purchased the 265w. The bluetooth option is great! 80% of the time the bluetooth doesn't immediately work, but after I turn it off and on a couple times it works perfectly. I'm not sure what the bug is, but the quality of the bluetooth is worth the little irritations. Finding points of interests works 99% of the time. I use it quite often, but there was one time where the addresses were out of date. I'm glad I was able to find some aftermarket parts to use on my road bike. I researched and researched before I purchased the nuvi, because I wanted the capability to use on a bike without spending 500.00 for the bike model. Stellar product. There could be a decent amount of improvements, but for the price you get what you pay for.

When I googled my destinations I found a slightly different route than what the Garmin came up with. This is my first GPS so I am still a novice but I found it A little tricky to alter the course in Garmin. The course Garmin found was an excellent route. I was just trying to shave off a few minutes/miles here and there.

This is the first GPS that I have used. I would be interested in doing trip planning on the computer and then downloading that into the Garmin. I do not know if this is possible but it would make programming the device a little easier. Overall, I am very happy with the device.

Pros:
Works as stated right out of the box. I like the usb cord for my mac. Instead of downloading updates onto a mem card, then onto the device... the device directly updates from the website. The handsfree is great quality and that alone sells me, because i don't enjoy earpieces.
Cons:
was having a deal of trouble pairing the device with my phone... not sure what's happening there. Also, some functions (handsfree, traffic, bluetooth) were acting very temperamental. Hope it is just a onetime thing and not a malfunction in the product.

This product is great for a basic GPS, and I'm looking forward to receiving the 3rd party attachment for the bike so I can use it when I'm on trails and commuting to work.

On a cloudy day you can not relay on it, since it looses satelite.
