Pros:
Canon quality at an affordable price. There is a lot of bang for the buck here with a major brand name. The zoom is amazing and you can't beat Canon quality photos. It is quite compact for ease of carry yet fills a big hand. Operation is very intuitive especially being that it is quite feature laden. I'm quite happy with battery life as I've used other cameras that were horrible in this regard. The lens cover being built in is great as you don't have to fumble around with an exterior one that is in the way and easily falls off. I believe there is no better camera for the money on the market today.
Cons:
Lag between photos, probably due to process time is always an issue with every camera that I use. I take large photos with big file sizes for use in graphics programs. Canon is much better in this regard than other cameras I've used but it is an area that can always stand improvement.
Comment about Canon PowerShot SX120 IS Point & Shoot Digital Camera
I was using a Kodak 12X zoom camera before. I actually paid more for it than I did this new Canon. It did take a high quality picture but the shutter lagged to the point where I couldn't get an accurate shot. 15 seconds later the photo was processed before I could another. It needed expensive batteries that drained quickly. All these things rendered the Kodak useless. Kodak doesn't want to know you after the sell. All these issues disappeared with my purchase of the Canon and I'm not surprised. I've been using a Canon printer for 3 years now with no issues and the print quality is the best I've seen. I will be using this Canon product with confidence and I highly recommend it to others. Canon actually ships this camera with an HD card as well.
