Pros:
Big, bright with more useful info on the map screen than my old 250W. I haven't had a chance to try the traffic features yet. Can't believe how many points of interest are contained in this little box.
Cons:
If I took a different route than recommended, recalculation time seemed a bit long. Took about 5 hours to download maps.

Pros:
Large, bright screen
Rapid route calculation and recalculation
Long battery life
Good windshield mount
Cons:
Control over route/road selection not as flexible as in my old Streetpilot 2610. I would very much like to see the minor, medium and major road sliders (like--dislike) to be re-implemented in newer units

About everything. Good on recalculations, notifications, speed signs are great.
Cons:
Nothing major yet.
Comment about Garmin 1450LMT Automobile Portable GPS Navigator We just used it for a 1800 mile trip, and it got us there and back with no problems. One time I thought I was lost, but it took some back roads (which we loved) right to the spot. We did get off track one time, but that was me thinking I was smarter than the Garmin. I wasn't. It got me back on track. The only problem I had with it was twice it tried to take me on dirt roads. I had set it to NO DIRT ROADS. Guess it forgot. I would recommend the Garmin 1450LMT.
I always map my routes on the computer as a backup, but didn't need it. The complaints about the advertising on the traffic feature didn't bother me a bit. As usual PC Nation got it delivered right on time. Great service.

I have had sometimes where it takes a while for the GPS to locate a satellite. Not sure what that's about.

When I make a U turn that was not programed it gets stuck on the arrow sight and I can't get rid of it. I have to shut it off and start again. I believe there is something wrong with it. If it keeps on doing it I'll have to send it back

Pros:
The 5" screen is very nice; the lifetime maps and traffic is essential (there are not enough ads to get upset about in order to get the lifetime traffic); great pricing since the 2012 models came out; spoken upcoming road names so you aren't constantly checking for them; intersection close-ups are really nice
Cons:
Needs more voice options (can get free ones from the Garmin Garage but not a good variety)
Comment about Garmin 1450LMT Automobile Portable GPS Navigator We really like this gps - if switching between 2 users, each needs to really check the settings before going on a trip to be sure it's set the way you want (I learned this the hard way in Charlotte, NC); the larger size is the way to go (as I get older, this becomes more of a Pro!)

Screen size is a little larger than I anticipated but I like to see what's around my location and this unit does that well, major plus. The lifetime map installation is extremely easy even for a non cyber type such as myself.
Cons:
I had a bit of dificlulty with registration however Garmin tech support was excellent.Would like to have had this unit shipped with a full user's manual instead of a quick start guide.

I bought this same model for one of my boys last year and wanted one for myself.
Cons:
The only fault I can find with it is that it occasionally has the wrong location for an address. But I believe that is due to human error by the person who makes the maps.
