IEEE 802.3x flow control (full duplex), back pressure (half duplex) and 60 Gbps switching capacity allow smooth transmission of large files. One 10 Gbps SFP+ port is included for uplinking data to other switches using optical fiber cabling. Supports Power over Ethernet to Save You Money and Give You More Installation ChoicesBecause this network switch supports PoE, it can supply the power to operate compatible PoE devices, such as wireless LAN access points and bridges, VoIP phones and IP video cameras. This saves you the expense and effort of purchasing, connecting and installing individual power supplies for each device. It also helps you install PoE devices in areas far away from AC outlets, such as poles or ceilings. Eight RJ45 ports support up to 30W each with a total PoE budget of 100W when using the included AC power adapter. Plug-and-Play Functionality for Easy UseNo configuration is required in setting up the unmanaged NG8POE-M2, so you can have your 2.5 Gbps network up and running immediately. Cat5/5e/6/6a UTP/STP cables (sold separately) provide optimal performance. Easy-to-read LEDs indicate connection and activity status for each port.
