It also helps you install PoE devices in areas far away from AC outlets, such as poles or ceilings. Eight RJ45 ports support up to 30W each with a total PoE budget of 60W when using the included AC power adapter. It isolates all ports from each other and only allows access to the uplink port, which increases privacy.
