Account Manager - Inside Sales
Job Description
Our Account Managers are responsible for generating sales by building consultative, repeat relationships with small/medium-sized businesses, as well as with government and educational institutions across the country. Data Scientist
The Data Scientist will assume a key role in accessing, analyzing and interpreting data to develop and implement advanced predictive models leveraging statistics, mathematics and econometrics to support business.
The Data Scientist will be responsible for driving excellence across all digital platforms including website, marketing and internal applications. Directly responsible for implementing strategy and implementing models in R.
Strong understanding of advanced analytics and hands on development to help PCNation drive sales growth and boost profitability. Using comprehensive fact bases of purchase data, identify opportunities for growth and align both internal teams and external partners.
The successful candidate will have relevant B2B and etail industry experience and demonstrated capabilities in statistical and econometric modeling in advanced analytics applications. The candidate will understand the business needs of a B2B etailer as well as the appropriate analytical approaches to merchandising and marketing problems encountered by B2B direct marketers.
Responsibilities
  • Manages the implementation of advanced statistical and econometric models of pricing, assortment and targeted marketing.
  • Objectives in merchandising and marketing such as price optimization, assortment optimization, target audience selection, marketing campaign design and execution, and marketing mix optimization.
  • Interpret, document and present/communicate analytical results to multiple business disciplines, providing conclusions and recommendations based on customer-centric data.
  • Take analytical objectives and define data requirements. Extract, clean, and transform customer and item-level data for purposes of analysis, modeling/segmentation and reporting.
  • Identify, develop and make recommendations for process improvements and best practices; own implementation of recommendations required.
Qualifications
  • • Degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science.
  • • Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience in Econometric Modeling or Marketing Analytics.
  • • Expert proficiency in developing original statistical and econometric models in pricing, assortment and marketing mix to support clients.
  • • Expert proficiency in implementing models using R (preferred) or Python.
  • Working knowledge of C++/C# and SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Director of Digital Marketing
PCNation is looking for an experienced and results-oriented digital marketing professional to take our digital marketing initiatives to the next level.
The Director of Digital Marketing reports directly to the President and assumes the primary role in driving marketing excellence across all digital platforms including the PCNation website, email and social media. Directly responsible for creating and implementing the digital marketing strategy including product advertising campaigns and content focused marketing initiatives. Create, implement and manage online campaigns from keyword research through to conversion optimization. Develop and execute our SEO and social marketing strategy growing traffic and revenue profitably. Evaluate results in various analytics platforms to better understand our online market position and continue to expand our national reach.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a digital marketing strategy that supports online sales and call center lead generation goals.
  • Develop and expand current data intelligence and predictive analysis efforts.
  • Management of budgets for online marketing activities to ensure optimal deployment of resources and accurate and timely reporting of incurred costs for financial reporting.
  • Assume an active role in ensuring website is optimized for digital marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience is required. Related experience in Information Technology is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing or computer science.
  • Strong grasp of SEM, SEO, Analytics and overall digital marketing best practices including methods and metrics for analysis.
  • Fluency in search marketing tools and platforms such as; Moz, SEM Rush, Google Analytics and Omniture/Adobe Site Catalyst.
  • Familiarity with mobile ad display and in-app advertising techniques.
  • Successful track record of team building and management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
